60 years old daily wage laborer from Kerala turns model in this viral photoshoot
Mammikka, a native of Kodivalli, Vennakadu is now a hero, not just in his hometown but on social media too. He was the model of the latest photoshoot that has now become viral. Everyone was impressed by his spectacular makeover. Mammikka is receiving hundreds of comments praising his unique looks and his panache.
For the people of Vennakad in Kozhikode, Mammika is an ordinary laborer who wears a faded shirt and lungi and doesn’t bother about his looks. He regularly buys fish and veggies from the market before heading home. However, his life changed when the pictures from his photoshoot appeared on the social media. Mammikka looks suave in trendy blazers and fabulous shades. Meanwhile, the I pad in his hands completes the looks.
It was a local firm that made Mammikka the model for their advertisement. The pictures were clicked by noted photographer Shareek Vayalil. Earlier, Shareek had clicked a photograph of Mammikka and posted on Facebook. Those photos too had become popular as Mammikka looked like actor Vinayakan. Shareek says that he couldn’t think of anyone else when he planned the photoshoot.
60 year old Mammikka became the model of a wedding suit company owned by Shareek. Millions of viewers had watched and liked the makeover video. It was make up artist Majnas who oversaw Mammikka’s makeover. Aashiq Fuad and Shabeeb Vayalil were the assistants. After the photoshoot became viral, Mammikka says that he would like to try modelling along with his regular job as a daily wage laborer.
