Runway 34 new trailer: Ajay Devgn as a pilot tries to avoid a crash landing, but his decision raises doubts
Runway 34 is said to be inspired from true events. It stars Ajay Devgn, who’s also directed it, apart from Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet.
Ajay Devgn’s Runway 34 looks like a gripping tale set 35,000 feet above ground. But this isn’t your regular story of a plane mishap or its survivors. The movie’s second trailer, which released on Monday, reinstates that there’s more to the plot than what meets the eyes.
Ajay Devgn, who’s also directed the film, plays a pilot Vikrant Khanna while Rakul Preet Singh plays his co-pilot. Due to tribulations amid bad weather, Vikrant pulls all stops to ensure a safe landing of the passenger plane. But he looks like a man with a lot to hide. He chooses Runway 34 for the landing, much to the shock of people in the control room. Does the plane land or crash is yet to be seen. But his decision surely calls for an investigation.

Runway 34 has Amitabh Bachchan playing an investigating officer who’s pledged to uncover the real intentions of pilot Vikram Khanna. According to Vikram, during such testing times onboard, on one hand a pilot becomes the only saviour for the passengers. But on the other hand, everything that happens in the plane also becomes his responsibility. The movie also stars Boman Irani, Adhira Dhar and Aakanksha Singh.
Runway 34 is said to be inspired from true events. As per the synopsis, “Runway 34 revolves around Captain Vikrant Khanna played by Ajay Devgn, a flying prodigy, whose flight takes a mysterious course after take-off from an international destination.”
Ajay Devgn who is making his directorial return after 2016’s Shivaay, previously said, “It’s got terrific highs, alarming lows, a sense of jubilance and dejection, all within the screenplay. Honestly, letting this script just pass me by, was not even a consideration. I knew I had to make it.”
Runway 34 will release on April 29.

FIR filed against Ranveer Singh for nude photoshoot after lawyer complains he ‘insulted modesty of women’
An FIR was filed against actor Ranveer Singh for posting nude picture of himself on Instagram from a recent magazine photoshoot
Chembur police have registered a case against actor Ranveer Singh for posting nude pictures on his Instagram account. Ranveer has been booked under section 292 (dealing with obscene materials falls within this exception thereby addressing the issue of public decency and morality), 293 (obscene objects to young person) and 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) including 67 (A) of the Information Technology act.
The written application was submitted at the Chembur police station by a Mumbai based lawyer Vedika Chaubey. Chaubey alleged in her complaint that actor has hurt the sentiments of women in the general and insulted their modesty through his photographs.
Ranveer Singh, a recipient of several awards, is known for his roles in films like Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat and Gully Boy. Ranveer posed for international magazine Paper this month. The photoshoot, that showed him posing naked in a few pictures was met with some shock and some applause by his fans and celebrity friends.
Later, the NGO and a woman lawyer submitted separate complaints against the actor at Chembur police station. The application filed by the lawyer, a former journalist, had also demanded a case against Singh on the charge of intent to outrage the modesty of women, police earlier said.
In an interview to Paper Mag, Ranveer said, “I work f****** hard. I want to wear nice shit. Eat my f****** a**, I will wear nice f****** shit. I bust my balls, I work 20-hour days. I’m not complaining — I’m only too happy and too grateful — but I go f****** hard. I will f****** buy Gucci, I will wear it from head to toe. Anybody who judges me can eat my f****** a**.”
Ranveer was recently seen in Netflix’s interactive special Ranveer vs Wild with Bear Grylls which received a positive response from viewers. As far as films are concerned, he will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s next directorial film Cirkus with Jacqueline Fernandes and Pooja Hegde. The film is slated to release on the occasion of Christmas 2022.

Reportedly, a fourth film currently titled Murder 4 is stated to be under Vishesh Films production. As per the ABP report, Disha Patani was offered the lead role opposite Emraan Hashmi. However, she turned down the offer after considering Tiger Shroff’s advice.
Now Disha is gearing up for her next release Ek Villian Returns. In the film, she will be seen sharing the screen with John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, and Tara Sutaria for the very first time.
